Our petticoats all have an adjustable waistband, this is made out of elastic and you can adjust the waist using button-and-eye fastening. Do note, you can only adjust them to a smaller size (make the waistband smaller), not bigger, because depending on the size, there is a max to the length of the waistband. 

All our pettitcoats have the same length. Which pairs perfectly with pretty much all of the swing dresses. If you have a relatively short dress or skirt, you can roll over the waistband a few times to make the petticoat appear shorter.  

The petticoats are fully lined, so you could wear them as a stand-alone piece. They are opaque, not translucent.
